Notes from a “line-lover”…

Love for lines

I. Love. Lines.
And I feel they stand out in a monochrome picture. Lines are pleasing to the eye symbolizing for me perfection, and the beauty therein.

Life awakens at Spring…

Awakening: the sleeping now awaken.
Flowers, sun, black and white, photography, monochromes, B&W,

I love it as Spring brings to life the hibernating trees and far away birds. The sun and rains, the chirping of birds, flowers hither and yon: the black and white canvas now colored with life!
Oh- how I missed it all!

Pink flowers, blue sky, sun, spring, summer.

Shades of the sun…

Sunrise or sunset: The pattern that forms with the bright burning orb in the center of the horizon has made the human mind go beyond and think of us as a part of something so much larger…
The sun rises and sets every day, only to be back without fail – a promise that was never broken. Yet one can’t fail to be amazed by the spectacular show that is not the same….

The sunrise just coming out after fresh showers with all its splendor !

Sunset and me: the sun is going down into the depths of the ocean where it would refresh itself to be back again!

Not touched up even though it might appear to, this picture reminds me of the evening when the sky went ablaze darkening further the shadows. I was enveloped in a peach-orange-pink-ish bubble away from this world. It was magical!

I’d rather be doing something creative…like

I’d rather be: (if not taking walks in the wilderness), doing something creative, like reading, writing or just blogging on wordpress 🙂

Memories…

Memories:
Winters are not all that bad, as we might make them out to be. It snows. It gets gloomy. But the puddle of warmth under a lamp or each festive light on a string, then, makes it so much more cozy.
The memories we carry in spring and summer and the yearning again for it in the fall goes in a cycle until the first snow showers.
The cycle goes on as we accumulate stories of cozy winters and distant celebrations gone by….

It snowed and snowed. The two chairs stayed together through it all.

The gloomy sky pushed the imagination to kick in, just to keep going. Spring must be just round the corner…

The string of tiny lights around the handrail sparkle joy…
